We ate here 3x during our stay in Chalok area. Could’ve been more honestly, but we wanted to explore the area. Loved everything we ordered here. They make such amazing food. It’s always a step up from the traditional Thai food. The staff are attentive all the time, and the atmosphere is great. Do make sure that you arrive early between 6-7pm because the place fills up during dinner time. Last time we arrived at 7pm, and we weren’t able to eat there since they were fully booked. Otherwise, certainly my favorite restaurant during our Thailand travel!

Been traveling around Thailand for 3 weeks and sadly never found great Khao Soi noodles in Chiang Mai — who knew the best Khao Soi would be on my last stop in Koh Tao. The dish was so flavorful, bold, with good spice, and a generous portion of pickled veggies which elevated it so much. The eggplant katsu was also incredible - so tasty! We would return just for that.

I’m really hoping this place just had an off night. The Khao Soi chicken was delightful but unfortunately the Pad Thai was terrible. Possibly the worst I’ve had in Thailand. It’s almost as if they no forgot to season it at all. I will come back and try some other things on the menu because it seems like they know what they are doing back in the kitchen. Edit: We went back. The Khao Soi chicken again was good but the Thai fried chicken, chili and egg curry was severely under seasoned. I’m so torn on this place. They nail so many aspects of a nice restaurant but they fail to deliver on fundamental taste time and time again. Worth a try but only for the Khao Soi because I haven’t seen anyone else doing it

Best dish I’ve had my entire time travelling! The most delicious meal, and the food was so flavourful and seasoned to perfection. When I took a bite of my curry I would get a wave of sweetness then spice then hotness and so on was so good and we’ll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend the fried chicken and curry with a side of rice.

The Ananas belongs to the best Thai restaurants we found during our 3 week Thailand holiday. Nice small and authentic place, very friendly service with some light background music.

We have been twice for lunch at Ananas and both time was a Great experience. One of the best restaurant we tried in Thailand ( yes I admit we have only been 2 weeks) but still, some of the flavours were mind blowing. Some good "western" options too (nice and juicy burger) if you can't take another Pad Thai or a Curry. Best dish we ordered both times was the Egg Plant Katsu with Wasabi Mayo !! Awesome !!

We had a very nice time at the ananas restaurant. Beautiful place with very friendly staff. We both had the panang-curry (tofu, chicken) and they were amazing curry‘s. We did also had the eggplant-katsu, which was also very delicious. So definitely go there if you are around in that area.

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. We have returned 4 times! The food was amazing and had a lot of flavor. Wonderful staff and atmosphere! Looking forward to coming back :)
